Limassol, Cyprus. Limassol municipality has expanded its cleaning fleet with two new vehicles equipped with autonomous high-pressure washing systems using hot and cold water as well as steam. The vehicles were delivered on Wednesday, according to a municipal statement issued on Thursday.
Use in street cleaning
The municipality said the new vehicles will be used for routine street-cleaning operations and organised cleaning campaigns across the city’s neighbourhoods.
Modernisation programme
The purchase is part of a broader programme to modernise the municipality’s fleet and equipment, in line with decisions taken by the municipal council and the approved budget.
Service improvement
The municipality said the investment is intended to improve the quality and efficiency of the services it provides to residents.
