Limassol municipality to proceed with asphalt paving, traffic restrictions expected

Limassol, Cyprus. Limassol municipality said it will proceed with scheduled asphalt paving on major roads, with temporary traffic restrictions expected during the works.


Road upgrade and maintenance programme

The municipality said the works are part of the “ongoing upgrade and maintenance of the road network”.

Franklin Roosevelt Avenue works on May 1

Paving is scheduled on Franklin Roosevelt Avenue on May 1, covering the section between Serifou Street and Symis Street.

Archbishop Makarios III Street works on May 3

Further paving is scheduled on May 3 on Archbishop Makarios III Street, from the junction with Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue to Digeni Akrita Street.

Traffic arrangements and public guidance

The municipality said traffic arrangements will be affected during the works and urged the public to comply with road signs. It said the interventions aim to improve road conditions and safety, and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
