Limassol, Cyprus. Police in Limassol said on Thursday they are investigating an incident in which a 22-year-old food delivery rider reported being robbed and beaten. The alleged incident occurred on Wednesday evening, according to the rider.
Rider reports attack during delivery
The rider told police he travelled to a location to deliver an order and that, upon arrival, “five or six” people approached him, beat him, and stole money from him.
Injuries and medical treatment
Police said the man suffered superficial injuries but did not wish to go to hospital for treatment.
Investigation ongoing
Police said their investigation into the matter is ongoing.
