Nicosia, Cyprus. Police arrested a 35-year-old man after discovering an indoor cannabis-growing operation at a house in the Nicosia district, police said on Monday. The man was expected to appear in court later that day.
Items seized
Police found two cannabis grow tents in a bedroom containing nine cannabis plants measuring between 115 and 190 centimetres in height.
Officers also seized more than 1.6 kilograms of cannabis, 90 grams of a white powder believed to be cocaine, and a precision scale.
Growing equipment
Police said various machines and equipment were being used to control the room’s temperature and humidity. A watering hose and other equipment allegedly used to grow plants were also found and seized.
