Nicosia, Cyprus. A 59-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition at Nicosia general hospital after a road collision in the Famagusta district on Wednesday. Police said they are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Incident in Paralimni
Police said the collision occurred at approximately 2.10pm in the Paralimni area. The man was riding his motorcycle on a dirt road when, under circumstances that remain under investigation, he lost control of the vehicle and overturned, sustaining serious injuries.
Hospital transfer and investigation
He was taken by ambulance to Famagusta hospital and later transferred to Nicosia general hospital due to the severity of his injuries, where he remains in critical condition. Police said investigations into the case are ongoing.
