NATO air defences down second Iranian ballistic missile after it entered Turkish airspace

Ankara, Turkey. NATO air defences in the eastern Mediterranean have shot down a second ballistic missile fired from Iran that entered Turkey’s airspace, Turkey’s Defence Ministry said on Monday. The ministry warned it would take necessary steps without hesitation.

The Turkish Defence Ministry said the missile was intercepted after entering Turkish airspace and described it as the second such ballistic missile shot down by NATO air defences in the eastern Mediterranean.
