Nicosia, Cyprus. Yfantourgeio the Workplace and the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) will host a morning of free workshops on March 7, ahead of International Women’s Day. The event is part of the CareDivide Project and will focus on women’s care responsibilities and creative expression.
Programme and focus
The event will begin at 10am with a brief presentation and an interactive activity titled Making Women’s Care Visible, developed within the CareDivide Project. Organisers said the session invites participants to explore often-unseen care responsibilities women carry in everyday life and examines how informal care, particularly for older family members, can shape women’s opportunities and challenges.
Three simultaneous workshops
Following the opening session, participants will join one of three artistic workshops taking place at the same time. Options include Olive Wreath Making & Floristry Basics, Traditional Ukrainian Wood Block Printing, and Vision Board creation with a self-love focus.
Registration and practical details
The workshops are scheduled to conclude around 12pm. Admission is free, but organisers said participants should pre-register for their chosen session as places are limited. The event will take place at Yfantourgeio the Workplace in Nicosia, and is listed on Facebook as “Women’s Day Workshops.”
