Nicosia, Cyprus. Police said nine people were arrested overnight during operations aimed at tackling crime and traffic offences, including attempted bombing and drink driving.
Arrests and enforcement activity
Police said they pulled over 639 vehicles and checked 983 drivers and passengers. They reported 315 people for various traffic offences, including three for drink driving.
Inspections of establishments
Police said they raided 23 establishments and filed one report.
