Paphos, Cyprus. A 44-year-old man was sentenced to eight years in prison on Tuesday after the Paphos permanent criminal court found him guilty of rape.

The Paphos CID opened an investigation following a complaint concerning an offence against a woman in the Paphos district on March 21, 2023.
The case was filed before the court on March 27, 2023, after the investigation was completed.
