Petrolina appoints Demetra Kalogerou Antoniadou as non-executive board member

Nicosia, Cyprus. Petrolina (Holdings) Public Ltd announced the appointment of Demetra Kalogerou Antoniadou as a new non-executive member of its board of directors, effective March 19, 2026.


Appointment and board role

The company said Kalogerou Antoniadou will serve as an independent member of the audit committee following her appointment. It added that she does not maintain any existing professional relationship with the organisation.

Academic qualifications

According to the announcement, Kalogerou Antoniadou holds a BSc in Economics and Social Studies in Business Administration from the University of Wales. She also has an MA in Economics of Public Policy from the University of Leicester and an MPhil in Business Studies via research in Finance from City University Business School.

Regulatory and oversight experience

The company said she served as chair of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) from September 2011 to September 2021. It added that she was also a member of the Cyprus Public Audit Oversight Board from November 2012 to February 2021.
