Nicosia, Cyprus. Police arrested four people and reported 372 individuals for traffic violations during overnight operations aimed at combating crime and improving public safety.

Police said the arrests were linked to theft from an employee, theft of a motorcycle and public insult.
Traffic checks and enforcement
During Sunday night’s operations, police checked 809 drivers and passengers and booked 372 people for various offences, including 204 for speeding. Police also identified 17 pending traffic offences and confiscated nine vehicles.
Checks on establishments
Police checked 26 establishments and filed two reports.
