Paphos, Cyprus. Police are investigating a robbery and assault after three young men were attacked and injured late on Tuesday night. A wallet containing €1,200 was reported stolen.
Incident details
The incident occurred at about 11:30pm in an open area, where three unknown individuals reportedly attacked the victims, with one using a sharp object, before fleeing with the wallet.
Injuries and hospital treatment
The three complainants, aged 27 and 25, were taken to Paphos general hospital with injuries caused by a blunt instrument, while one remains in hospital as a precaution.
Investigation
Paphos CID is continuing enquiries, examining witness statements and CCTV footage from the area.
