Nicosia, Cyprus. Sirens that sounded at the United States embassy in Nicosia were part of a test alarm and were no reason for concern, police told the Cyprus Mail on Saturday.

Police said they could not provide further details on the testing, but added that there was nothing to worry about regarding the alarm.
