Moscow, Russia. Russia on Thursday called on Israel and the United States to end their attacks on Iran and come to the negotiating table.
Call for negotiations
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Russia would continue taking steps to end the escalation in the Middle East as soon as possible and resolve contradictions by peaceful means.
Claim of civilian casualties
Zakharova said the number of victims of what she described as illegal military action by Washington and Tel Aviv among Iran’s civilian population was in the thousands, according to Iranian authorities.
