Kerzers, Switzerland. At least six people died late Tuesday when a bus caught fire on a road in Kerzers in western Switzerland. Police said evidence suggests the blaze may have been caused by a deliberate act by someone on board.

Police said the bus became engulfed in flames in Kerzers, a town in the canton of Fribourg, about 20 km (12 miles) from the Swiss capital, Bern. Media reports said a person on the bus had set fire to themselves.
Police statement
“At this stage, we have elements suggesting a deliberate act by a person who was inside the bus,” said Frederic Papaux, a spokesperson for Fribourg police.
