The UN Official Representative in Cyprus Elizabeth Spechar made attempts to reconcile the leaders of the two communities. Today in the morning she met with President Anastasiades and on Tuesday with the leader of Turkish-Cypriots Mustafa Akinci.
Earlier, the latter also discussed the current issues with the Turkish Minister of Foreign affairs. All of the above returned the two sides to the negotiations table.
