Washington, United States. U.S. President Donald Trump criticised German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on Thursday, saying Merz should focus on trying to end the Russia-Ukraine war and spend less time interfering with efforts to tackle what Trump called the Iran nuclear threat.

In his Thursday post, Trump said the German chancellor should spend more time on ending the war with Russia and Ukraine, saying Merz had been totally ineffective, and on fixing Germany, including immigration and energy, and less time on interfering with those addressing the Iran nuclear threat.
