Trump to send Witkoff and Kushner to Pakistan for talks with Iran foreign minister, CNN reports

Islamabad, Pakistan. U.S. President Donald Trump is sending special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Pakistan for talks with Iran’s foreign minister, CNN reported on Friday.


CNN report on planned delegation

CNN, citing two administration officials familiar with the matter, reported that Witkoff and Kushner will travel to Pakistan for the talks.

Vance to remain on standby

CNN reported that Vice President JD Vance is not currently planning to attend but will be on standby to travel to Islamabad if negotiations progress.
