Washington, United States. US President Donald Trump issued a renewed warning to Iran, calling on Tehran to immediately stop the actions of allied armed groups in Lebanon that he said are causing unrest. He also warned of a stronger US military response if the situation involving Hezbollah does not change.

Statement on Truth Social

In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump said Iran must end the actions of its “highly paid proxies” in Lebanon and linked regional stability to the conduct of pro-Iranian forces.

Warning to Tehran

“Tehran must immediately stop its highly paid proxies in Lebanon from causing trouble,” Trump wrote, in a further public statement reflecting continued tensions between Washington and Tehran.

Threat of military action

Trump said the United States was prepared to respond militarily with greater force than before if there was no change in the situation with Hezbollah.

“If they don’t, we will hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder!!!” he wrote.
