Erdogan’s senior advisor – Mr. Igit Bulut stated that the European solution to the Cyprus problem is not acceptable.
He also added: “Turkey will not abandon its “brothers” in Cyprus to the EU, who are attacking the Turkish Ministers and are violating Human Rights”. The politician believes that Turkey does not have to apologise to other country for its presence and fully supports the intervention of 1974.
Earlier, he stated that a very high price was paid for the acquisition of Cyprus and criticised Mustafa Akinci for the attempt to find benefits for the TRNC to become a European Member state.
