Collision on Hillerod-Kagerup line

Police said the incident occurred on a train line linking the towns of Hillerod and Kagerup. A spokesperson for the Greater Copenhagen fire department told Reuters that two local trains collided head-on.

Passengers evacuated and response deployed

The fire department spokesperson said there were injuries among passengers and that everyone had exited the trains, with no one trapped. The spokesperson added that large resources had been dispatched to the scene.
