Limassol, Cyprus. Two people were remanded in custody on Wednesday in connection with an arson case in Anoyira that led to a fire burning about 600 square metres of wild vegetation on March 8.
Remand orders issued
The Limassol district court issued five-day remand orders against the suspects, a 48-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman, to facilitate police investigations.
Fire and investigation findings
The fire started just after 1.30pm on March 8 and was put out by the fire brigade. Police and fire brigade investigations determined that there were three points of ignition, set intentionally.
