Yermasoyia, Cyprus. Tyres were set on fire in the middle of a busy road in Yermasoyia, Limassol, late on Monday, prompting a police search for those responsible. Police said the fire began shortly before midnight.

Police said masked individuals, believed to be youngsters, appear to have piled tyres on the road and set them alight.

A video published by Roadreport.cy shows a group of young people fleeing the area while being chased by a police patrol car.
