Limassol, Cyprus. Roadworks this week will install variable-message signs along three sections of the Limassol-Nicosia highway, the department of public works said on Monday. The left lane will be closed for about 600 metres in each area while works are underway.
Work schedule
The first section is past the GSP roundabout in the direction of Nicosia, near the GSP Stadium in Strovolos. Excavation work will begin on Tuesday at 9pm and conclude on Wednesday.
Installation in Limassol
The other two sections will undergo installation work on Thursday and Friday. Both are between the Ayios Athanasios and Germasogeia interchanges in Limassol, with one section in the direction of Nicosia and the other in the direction of Limassol.
Public advisory
The department of public works apologised for the inconvenience and asked the public to comply with temporary traffic signs and police instructions.
