Nicosia, Cyprus. A waterpipe fault in the early hours of Friday has closed part of Vyronos Avenue near Omirou and Mikis Theodorakis avenues, as well as Nehru Street.

The Nicosia municipality said that until Saturday, traffic from Omirou and Mikis Theodorakis avenues will be directed through Nehru Street.

The municipality urged the public to follow instructions and take alternative routes where possible.
