Nicosia, Cyprus. A 50-year-old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a motorcycle on Limassol avenue in Nicosia on Wednesday evening. Police said the collision happened at around 7.30pm as she attempted to cross the road.
Hospital treatment
The woman was taken to Nicosia general hospital, where doctors diagnosed a subdural haematoma.
Condition and investigation
Her condition was described as serious, but she was out of danger. The motorcycle was being ridden by a 22-year-old man. Nicosia traffic police are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
