Nicosia, Cyprus. A yellow weather warning has been issued for strong thunderstorms on Thursday. The warning will be in effect between 11am and 6pm.
Forecast and expected impacts
The met office said that at the storms’ peak, rain will fall at a rate of 35 to 55 millimetres per hour. It added that hailstones may also fall during those storms.
