In today’s world, to achieve success, you need to meet certain standards: look good, be strong, and be able to think quickly and effectively. It goes without saying that without good health and a stable metabolism, this is unlikely to be possible. It is well known that diet plays a vital role in maintaining and improving our health. To help us, dietitians are developing new methods and diets. But the same diet affects people differently. The fact is that all the processes taking place in our bodies are unique.
For example, each individual’s metabolism operates at a different rate. Consequently, two different bodies will process the very same apple differently. Metabolism is the sum of chemical reactions and associated processes within the body, resulting in the intake of substances, their absorption, their use in vital processes, and the excretion of waste products into the environment. A diet suited to your metabolic type ensures your body receives what it needs, without wasting energy on eliminating toxins produced whilst attempting to digest foods that are unsuitable for it, and, most importantly, to supply the body with the necessary building blocks for the regeneration of cells and organs. Any disruption to digestion leads to changes in the functioning of all organs. The liver, spleen and adrenal glands produce hormones that regulate many processes in our body. A hormonal imbalance affects digestion. This creates a vicious circle, which can be quite difficult to break out of.
A system for determining an individual’s metabolic type has existed for many years, but has only recently become widely used. A special questionnaire and a blood test are used to determine your metabolic type. By analysing your answers, doctors determine your metabolic type and select a diet and the supplements you need. By following a diet suited to your metabolic type, you will bring your body into balance, and positive changes will not be long in coming.
