Trachoni, Cyprus. A 14-year-old boy suffered an epidural haematoma after the e-scooter he was riding collided with the rear of a parked car in the early hours of Friday. He is in stable condition at Makarios hospital in Nicosia.


Accident under investigation

The crash occurred at about 12.30am in Trachoni, Limassol, under circumstances that remain under investigation.

Hospital treatment

The boy was initially taken to Limassol general hospital before being transferred to Nicosia general hospital for further tests.

The tests indicated that he had suffered an epidural haematoma. He was subsequently transferred to Makarios general hospital, where he is receiving treatment in the children’s intensive care unit.
