Paphos, Cyprus. The Paphos regional tourism board, Etap Paphos, has extended its domestic tourism campaign until mid-November 2026 following promotional activity that generated more than 2.6 million impressions between May and August.

Campaign focus

The campaign targets permanent residents of Cyprus and promotes the Paphos district for holidays and short breaks, highlighting natural attractions, beaches, food, events and outdoor activities.

Etap Paphos said its strategy this year focused on reminding residents of the experiences available in the district through digital promotional channels.

Digital promotion

The campaign has included targeted advertising on Facebook and Instagram, as well as videos and photographs presenting the district’s tourism products and experiences.

Online competitions offering prizes were also part of the campaign and attracted more than 85,000 participants.

Polis and Akamas

Etap Paphos has operated two parallel campaigns, with particular emphasis on the Polis Chrysochous area and the Akamas peninsula.

The promotions highlight the area’s countryside and clean beaches, presenting it as a destination for relaxation and a break from everyday life.

Campaign results

Between May and August, promotional messages generated more than 2.6 million impressions and reached over 335,000 potential visitors, according to the board.

The campaign also recorded more than 882,000 interactions, which Etap Paphos described as an exceptionally high engagement rate. The board said the results showed a strong response to its domestic tourism promotion and that new messages would continue until mid-November 2026.
