The Rialto theatre in Limassol will host the screening of the “Idomeneus” directed by Jean-Pierre Ponnel.
The opera is set after the Trojan war. The Cretan King Idomeneus, during his return, he survives the shipwreck. Whilst praising Poseidon, he promises to sacrifice to him the first living thing that he will meet on the shore.
