The Rialto theatre in Limassol will show the broadcast of the play ‘The Cherry Orchard” performed by The Moscow Arts Theatre.
“The Cherry Orchard” is performed for the 10th anniversary of the play, which has set the tone of the theatres of the XX century. The director Adolf Shapiro started thinking about where could the characters of the play be living know, after the cherry orchard has vanished.
The play with participation of Renata Litvinova, Andrei Smoliakov, Nikolai Chindiaikin, Yana Gladkih and others will show to the viewers the absurdity of the fragile beauty and its pointless lack of practicality.
The play will be broadcasted in Russian language with Greek subtitles.
