The grape and wine festival “Afamiya” will take place on the central square of Koilani.
The name of the festival originates from the mountain, which is located in the vicinity, where the major grape gardens were growing.
The event forms part of the Grape Feast in Cyprus.
The festival will include:
- The theatre performance of the drama and dancing bands of the Kilaniotes association;
- The exhibition of the traditional arts and crafts;
- Preparation and free tasting of the traditional Cyprus dessert – palouzes;
- Demosntration of Zivania making process;
- Exhibition of the agricultural products;
- Market with traditional local products.;
- Excursions around museums, wineries and churches of the village.
The Regional Troodos Tourism board offers bus transfer to the event.
