Armed robbery of McDonald’s in Limassol

Police is searching for armed criminals who robbed McDonald’s restaurant in Limassol this morning.

According to the police, two men, wearing hoods, walked into the restaurant in Kato-Polemidia at around 4am.

Once they have entered, they fired a shot into one of the doors and forced the employee of the restaurant to pass over all of the cash to them. According to the local media, there were few thousand Euros.

The witnesses – 9 employees of the restaurant, have stated that the criminals were talking in Greek with Cypriot accent.

The investigation is underway.
