The whole island was celebrating “Green Monday” yesterday- which starts the fasting season and the day before that, Cyprus was overwhelmed by colorful costumes.
On Sunday 13th of March, at 13:00, the Limassol Grand Parade has started. According to the tradition, it went along the Makarios Avenue and finished at the Similides traffic lights.
At 21:00 the closing carnival party took place on the Enaerios parking place, where the Best Costume Contest was held with prizes for the three winner.
