Tuesday to remain mostly clear with inland temperatures reaching 39C

Nicosia, Cyprus. Tuesday will be overwhelmingly clear, with temperatures rising to 39 degrees Celsius inland, 35 degrees on the east and south coast, around 32 degrees on the west and north coast, and around 30 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tuesday conditions

Winds will initially be variable at 3 to 4 Beaufort, while on the south coast they will temporarily reach up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough.

Tuesday night outlook

During the evening, conditions will remain mainly clear, although low clouds are expected to form locally in the early hours.

Temperatures will fall to around 23 degrees Celsius inland and on the coast, and to 17 degrees in the higher mountains.

Winds will blow northwest to northeast, and southeast on the north coast, at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

Weather conditions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will remain mainly clear.

Temperatures are expected to gradually decline slightly on Wednesday and Thursday and remain around the same levels on Friday.
