Man, 23, found injured in Kato Polemidia as police investigate

Kato Polemidia, Cyprus. A 23-year-old man was found with abdominal injuries in an open area in Kato Polemidia, Limassol, shortly before 2.30pm, police said on Tuesday. He was taken by ambulance to Limassol general hospital, where he underwent surgery.

Investigation ongoing

Police said the man’s injuries had possibly been caused by a sharp object. The circumstances surrounding the injury remain unclear and investigations are continuing.
