Pickup truck hits stationary car on motorway near Livadia

Larnaca, Cyprus. A pickup truck collided with a car parked on the hard shoulder of the motorway linking Larnaca with the east of the island early on Monday. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to hospital for examinations.

Police said the crash happened at around 5am on the westbound carriageway of the motorway near the Larnaca suburb of Livadia.

Emergency response

There were no people inside the stationary car at the time of the incident. Police officers and firefighters attended the scene.
