Overnight police traffic checks lead to 281 driver reports, including 128 for speeding

Nicosia, Cyprus. Police reported 281 drivers for various traffic violations during overnight operations, including 128 for speeding.

Traffic checks and offences

During the night, 458 vehicles were pulled over and 562 drivers and passengers checked. Police said three individuals were found to be drink driving and three others tested positive for drugs. Seven cars were impounded.

Inspections of establishments

Police also inspected 40 establishments and filed six reports.
