The Aphrodite-Amathusia Cultural Centre is an exhibition and cultural space of Amathounta Municipality in a stone building a few metres from the shore at Agios Tychonas, east of Limassol. The building opened in 1948 as an olive mill; a pomace-oil unit (1955) and a soap-making annex (1960) were added later, and the mill itself worked until 1986.
In 2004 the building was declared a preserved monument. It now hosts exhibitions and cultural events and is one of the municipality’s venues for civil weddings. The EMEL bus stop ‘Amathountos Ave. – Aphrodite Amathusia Park’ is in front of it.
