Cyprus leaders meeting in Nicosia

President Anastasiades and the leader of Turkish Cypriots Akinci will discuss the issues of Cyprus federal system management and possibility of granting certain political rights to both communities.

It is expected that this meeting will bring both parties one step closer to the renewing of Cyprus reunification talks, since the situation is unclear right now for a number of reasons.

Turkey continues its drilling works in the exclusive economic zone of Cyprus. Anastasiades, in turn, has handed the provocative case of Enosis to the Supreme Court.
