The cause of fire in the mountains is under investigation

The investigation to reveal the cause of fire up in the mountains, which happened during the weekend is currently underway.

The fire started yesterday at 16:00 in the Strongylos region. 7 fire brigades from the Forestry department arrived at the accident scene.

In cooperation with the special tem for the liquidation of consequences caused by natural disasters, the fire was extinguished.

All residents got anxious, because the junkyard (where the fire has started) is very near to Stavrovouni and the fire was a peril to the surrounding forest.
