Cyprus plans further developments in the tourism sector

The Cyprus government is preparing a set of reforms in the tourist sector. The Minister Constantinos Petrides has announced a set of 5 legislative projects, which are aimed to reform the tourism.

The main problem of the Cyprus tourism is the absence of long-term plans to improve competiveness.

Petrides has added that during the development of the new legislation, the Cyprus authorities are planning to cooperate with the foreign experts.
