More refugees are arriving to Greece from Turkey regardless of the fact that the agreement, made between Turkey and the EU on the matter of migrants, has entered into force.

Almost 1,000 individuals crossed the Greek border from 20th of March. 2 days ago, the agreement which aimed to end the illegal immigration has entered into force, however statistics show that this doesn’t stop the migrants.

The Greek authorities have reported that during the last two days, who children of the migrants died whilst they were in the sea. Furthermore, the Greek authorities have apprehended several smugglers, who were illegally transferring people from Turkey.

According to the agreement, the illegal immigrants will be sent back to Turkey. This will not affect only those, who can prove that they are fleeing due to the war and not seeking for the economic benefits of the EU.
