Results of the Armenian President’s visit to Cyprus

After the meeting of Presidents of Armenia and Cyprus, Mr. Nicos Anastasiadis has declared that his country is against anyone who denies the Armenian genocide.

He added that Cyprus supports the efforts of the Minsk group of OSCE on the issue of resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, while stressing that Yerevan and Nicosia will continue expanding their bilateral and international cooperation.

Mr. Sargsyan has pointed out that during the meeting a special importance was given to already existing effective relation in the military sphere, as well as expansion in that area.

The President of Armenia added that together with the President of Cyprus, they are stressing the importance of further development of humanitarian connections by organizing dedicated “Culture days” and other initiatives.
