Emergency Landing

Helicopter from the British base in Cyprus, which has made an emergency landing near the Kouris dam, has returned to Akrotiri. Military representative has stated that there were 3 members of crew in the helicopter and luckily no one got injured.

During an ordinary flight, helicopter started to experience technical difficulties. The pilot has immediately contacted with the Cyprus’ Civil Aviation authority and requested landing near the dam.
