Anastasiadis urged to resume the dialogue between the EU and Russia

The President of Cyprus urged to resume the dialogue between the EU and Russia.

According to Anastasiades, the sanctions are not the ultimate goal. He expressed his opinion that no one is interested in having Russia to face economic or any other difficulties- “This, surely, will not contribute to the improvement of the security levels throughout the EU”.

He encouraged all parties to reduce the tensions and resolve the issues through the negotiations.
