Nicosia, Cyprus. Hermes airports said 48 flights between Cyprus and the Middle East were cancelled on Sunday. The operator said other flights proceeded as planned.
Cancellations by airport
Hermes airports told the Cyprus News Agency that 36 cancelled flights were due to operate to and from Larnaca airport, while 12 were scheduled to connect to Paphos.
Routes affected
The flights were due to have operated to Israel and other countries of the Middle East.

Travellers were advised to check with their airline or travel agent before heading to the airport.
