Tourism Branch Lead

Job description, tasks:

Strategic:

  • analyse market trends in the travel industry, make recommendations for improvement and implement the recommendations;
  • work together with leadership team to develop and execute strategy for the tourist season to raise the profitability;
  • oversee the smooth running of the business and hold responsible for developing strategies to hit or exceed sales targets;
  • create revenue generating and value adding travel products to meet the demands of the travel market;
  • manage budgets and maintain statistical and financial records;
  • develop and grow the network of partner organizations outside of Cyprus to ensure tourist inflow and demand for Cyprus Inform services;
  • take part in familiarisation visits to new destinations to gather information on issues and amenities of interest to customers;
  • plan, execute, attend industry tradeshows, events to meet with partner key decision makers.

Routine:

  • plan, organize and direct the activities and functions of the respective Department;
  • administer the daily department operations, and ensure adherence to standards;
  • communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to all internal departments that the travel branch co-operates with to ensure high quality of service to customers;
  • oversee and control back to back processes from tourist arrival to departure;
  • manage and motivate the team to increase and close sales.

Requirements:

  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality management;
  • verbal and written fluency in English, Russian. Proficiency in Greek will be considered an advantage;
  • impeccable track record in the hospitality/tourism administration or marketing field, to include development and administration of complex programs and budgets; Track record in Cyprus Tourism sector will be considered a major advantage;
  • demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively;
  • strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities;
  • excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
  • ability to deal with internal / external customers and team members, collect accurate information and to resolve conflicts.

    Commercial development manager (with event management background)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic:

  • conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs;
  • develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction;
  • identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements;
  • promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives;
  • build long-term relationships with new and existing customers;
  • enhance organization reputation through customer service and continuous collaboration with partners, customers and service providers;
  • continuously focus on improving customer satisfaction to create customer loyalty and deliver a positive event experience;
  • be active member of the hospitality and event planning industries, and pursue new market opportunities to increase event sales.

Operational:

  • locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities;
  • screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials;
  • close new business deals by coordinating requirements; develop and negotiate contracts;
  • responsible for all elements of event planning, including identifying event logistics and negotiating contracts (includes providing accurate and timely information to clients, vendors, and meeting planners);
  • coordinate event logistics, proactively communicate event information, and set clear expectations for event delivery;
  • analyze and reconcile different event details, and consolidate the information into actionable event plans;
  • prepare detailed event reports, including sales data worksheets, cost projections and other financial metrics.

Requirements:

  • EU citizen/spouse to EU citizen;
  • BA required;
  • 3+ years related work experience required;
  • fluent English, Greek – written and spoken; Russian – would be a plus;
  • proven track record of executing successful, polished events that are on-time and on-budget;
  • strong project management and organizational skills;
  • forward-thinking attitude and ability to effectively solve unforeseen situations as they arise;
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal;
  • ability to work under time pressures and extended hours (weekends as needed);
  • marketing experience would be considered a strong advantage.

Sales Representative

Job description, tasks

  • establish, maintain, and enhance relationships between the company and external clients;
  • perform continuous active market research with the aim to identify prospective clients to target and look for new sales opportunities;
  • identify and contact potential customers (phone, face-to-face meetings);
  • present and promote Cyprus Inform product range to customers;
  • develop, prepare and present offers to existing and potential clients;
  • follow up on commitments towards the customer and perform post-sale support as well as strive to make repeated sales to existing client base;
  • identify gaps in own work compared to company targets, strive to continuously improve own sales techniques and contribute to overall sales team development;
  • work in close co-operation with other member of the Sales team.

Requirements

  • written and oral fluency in English (Greek or Russian would be considered a strong advantage);
  • perfect understanding of Cypriot market;
  • proven track records in sales industry;
  • B category driving license and private car with possibility to use it for business needs;

Finance Stream Specialist

Responsibilities

  • recording and reporting various company branch activity – invoice entry, control of payment, preparation of reports for paid and unpaid invoices in response to internal and external requests;
  • in co-operation with the accounting department – remuneration calculation, bonus calculations. Ensuring bonus pay-outs to employees. Keeping a record of the pay-outs and providing reports on request;
  • deposit cash and cheques on the company account;
  • cash operation processing – receipt, record, storage and issue cash amounts, keeping to the requirements for safety and security of material assets;
  • filling out cash register and bank forms – Keeping the cash-book up to date by entering the ingoing and outgoing transactions in a timely manner;
  • continuous control over cash-book balance to actual balance deviations;
  • reporting on finance streams – for internal use and to ease decision making;

Requirements

  • education: Bs (a degree in the sphere related to finance would be considered an advantage)
  • languages: Russian, English
  • the candidate is to have a high sense of responsibility and attention to detail, be reliable and trustworthy
  • proficient PC user (Advanced MS Office user)

Tourism Representative in Limassol, Larnaca or Paphos

Job description, tasks

  • provide consulting services to potential and existing customers;
  • sell excursions and tourism-related products that are in Cyprus Inform portfolio;
  • create progress and results report, the frequency can be as frequent as daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly / annually;
  • provide information support to customers;
  • update and follow-up on the partnership database (register new contracts, follow-up existing contracts);
  • receive and register reservation applications from partners;
  • coordinate excursions (contact / feedback to and from tour guides / provide information / coordinate with the driver and/or logistics department)
  • ensure that the information regarding partner contact details is up to date in internal systems;
  • provide suggestions on information update for handbooks and guides.

Requirements

  • written and oral fluency in English, Russian (Greek would be considered a strong advantage);
  • a proven track record in working on the position of Tourism Representative;
  • highly motivated, fast-learner with a strong desire to invest efforts into own development, also possessing a high level of responsibility.

REAL ESTATE SALESPERSON (SALES AND RENTALS)

Tasks:

  • Generate client leads to buy, sell, and rent property;
  • Determine clients’ needs and financial abilities to propose solutions that suit them;
  • Develop a competitive market price by comparing properties;
  • Intermediate negotiation processes, consult clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters, ensuring a fair and honest dealing;
  • Perform comparative market analysis to estimate properties’ value;
  • Show properties to potential buyers and renters;
  • Prepare necessary paperwork (contracts, leases, deeds, closing statements etc);
  • Maintain and update listings of available properties;

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Cyprus: EU citizen / spouse to EU citizen;

  • Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills;
  • Good knowledge of the local property.
