Ayia Napa, Cyprus. A 53-year-old man is intubated and in critical condition after he was found seriously injured in Ayia Napa on Sunday. Police are investigating the circumstances in which he was injured.
Incident and medical condition
The man was found injured on Eleftheria Street in Ayia Napa and was transported by ambulance to Famagusta general hospital. He was diagnosed with a fractured skull and a cerebral hemorrhage.
Hospital transfer and investigation
Due to the seriousness of his condition, he was transferred to Nicosia general hospital, where he is receiving treatment. Police said they were informed shortly before 7am by Famagusta general hospital that an injured person had been taken there earlier.
